German 7.5cm PaK 40 auf Schutzenpanzerwagen (Sd. Kfz. 251/22)

Kit build with scratchbuilt modifications by Peter Bleasdale

The base kit was from Dragon.

Improvements / modifications to the kit are as follows:

• Added Tamiya PzIV gun cleaning rods.
• Replaced one piece of the "C" section gun mount with a length of brass profile.
• Blanked off the radio operators visor with sheet plastic.
• Removed the incorrect radiator filler cap at the front bonnet.
• Replaced the two front lifting lugs with ones fashioned from an aluminium soft drink can.

Painting

The colour scheme & markings were inspired by Mirko. I used Tamiya Acrylics, kit decals and weathering pastels.
