US M26A1 Medium Tank

This series of images was taken in October 2001 at the Musee des Blindes, Saumur, France.

This wonderful museum houses a unique and extensive collection, many of the vehicles being sole survivors. Naturally it is strong on French vehicles, but other countries from all periods are also well represented. The town of Saumur remains to this day the training centre for the French Army Cavalry.
